Honors Curricular Experiences
Intro to Ohio Honors
This class served as a launch point for my college career at Ohio University. Our curriculum focused largely on community and campus involvement. We were able to independently explore different opportunities and events, such as lectures and film screenings.
Intro to Ethical Research and Creative Activity
This class focused on merging research projects with creative skills. We worked in groups with an artist coalition in Havana, Cuba, to help them market their outreach programs and community-building efforts.
Know the Past, Change the Future
This class focused on reconciling the complicated history of public lands in the United States with the environmental and recreational benefits of the present. We visited several state and national public lands, like Wayne National Park, to explore this topic.
Career Strategies
This class focused on individually tailored strategies to brand and market ourselves in the workforce, network with other professionals, and successfully apply and interview for jobs and internships. I was able to improve my resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn through this class.
